Table Build - My Turn!

After receiving a LBGE for my birthday in late January, I decided to build a table to fit our outdoor dining/lounging area. Here's a few pictures to show the build and a last one to show our first cook.

It's been a few cooks after. ( I know. No pictures, it didn't happen!) But, the ribs, pork butt that followed were great! Pork tacos tonight!

Nice build. Morris and tenon joinery? Also, what's the wood species?

Thanks for the compliment.

White Pine with several coats of Waterlox marine finish.It's easier to work with when your woodwork challenged. The main stringers are mortise and tenon jointed to the corner posts, the rest are screws and plugs.

Looks very nice - love that you used mortises.

As far as I know you can't change the forum (maybe you could inside the 1hr edit window, never tried). You could cut-n-paste into a new thread.

Bee, The top is a piece of UbaTuba granite. It has a green cast that works well with the Egg. I'll try and get better pictures today and post them up!
