First Turbo Butt

I've cooked a number of low and slow pork butts on my LBGE but today was the first time I tried the turbo method.
7.25 LB butt went on this morning around 9:30. Cooked at approximately 350 degrees until IT of 156 or so. Foiled and cooked until 205. Was about 6 or 7 hours...I lost track.
FTC for a couple hours. Came out great. Dressed with Eastern NC sauce from Elder Ward on the Naked Whiz site.
Guests over loved it and couldn't tell the difference between my previous low and slow cooks and this one. May have to keep this method exclusively!

I guess I will have to try a turbo butt next time. I have done quite a few low n slow but have noticed that most say they can't tell the difference.Gulf Coast FL
