Doing ribs for Memorial Day, 3 hours of smoke 1 1/2 wrap 1/2 sauced. 45 mins to go wrapped and the sky in Ga. opened up, I could hardly see the egg in the rain. I have egged in the rain and snow many times before, and I have never seen my temp drop over 50 degrees until today. Egg was stabilized at 250 degrees suddenly the weather changed and the egg dropped 50 degrees to 200 Why ? Would the egg have
come back up to temp in more time ?

That much cold rain probably cooled the ceramic down enough for that temp dip. I'm sure the egg would have recovered in time.
