Well I brought my new gently used egg home day before yesterday and finally today got to the store to get some lump and some steaks. Went home and followed the directions from the BGE website on cooking steaks and OH MY they were the best steaks I have ever eaten in my life!!!!
I am prepping a brisket tomorrow to toss on the egg first thing Saturday. So excited!!!!

You realize you get more points for the further you toss it, right? Video required.

Way to dive into the deep end! Remember centex's brisket advice... put the brisket on at midnight, then drink too much, fall asleep on the couch and let the temp drop overnight, recover at 9 am, and have a great brisket for dinner.+++++++++++++++++++++++++++Austin, Texas.
