A BBQ Confession

Sometimes when I'm smoking up some BBQ on the egg, I end up smelling like smoke. My shirt, my hair, my shorts, whatever it is.

I have noticed that my phone will carry the scent of smokey goodness with it for a few days if it's out and about.

I found myself in a meeting just now sniffing my phone. That's completely ridiculous. I had to share.

    Smelling like smoke is one thing. Sniffing your phone in a meeting, quite another. "Completely ridiculous"? Agreed.  :))

    I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

    I'm smoking 6 racks of spareribs today for a potluck this evening.  I ran to the hardware store shortly after re-arranging the ribs and being right in the smoke path, checkout clerk commented "smells like a fire".  I told her, "It's me, I'm smoking ribs at home".  The guy behind me says, "that smells delicious".

    The smell of smoke is one of the best things about a cell phone, saw this today on Canuckistan media, your cell likely has more bacteria, including the bad guys than a public restroom toilet seat.

    I'm pretty sure a long day at the office is a low n slow... Or maybe that's how you describe my career and future at the firehouse :)

    When I smoke a cigar the wife says I can't come to bed tell I take shower, but she doesn't mind the egg smoke smell. Its even better when I add wood to make better smoke.

    Hmmm...never thought about smelling my phone. I do wear hats every day, even to work, and if I grab a hat that I used while cooking the day before, I can smell it wherever I go.

    If someone calls you on your phone why wouldn't you just answer it instead of screaming at them.
