#GOT is awesome. I didn't think I'd like it when I started within but I can't get enough. I won't spoil anything for you.

It's one of my favorite shows. I almost have to stay off most webpages to avoid spoilers.

I'm hooked! The Gaber and I did the three season marathon a week before Season 4 started. Wait until you get to the part in the 3rd season when Dan pulls out his enemy's eyeball in a street fight. Oh wait that was Deadwood!

Check out the books as well.  They're even better than the show.  George RR Martin is the author.

(Of course, each book is some insane length like 900+ pages..aside from that..very good).

BTW, the casting, writing and directing in this show is freaking awesome!  Daenerys (OMG I'm completely in LURV with Daenerys - she's amazing in every. single. way!), Tyrion, Cersi, Tywin are all awesomely cast.

There were a few misses (Theon Greyjoy's sister, for example, who's a total sex filled hottie in the book and a woofer on the show [so must be related to someone who works the HBO show!]) but aside from that..one of the best shows ever made, hands down.

GOT is fantastic, a few weeks ago the first two seasons were a lightning buy on Amazon, Blu-Ray for <$30, SWMBO says watch it on the PVR and skip the ads when you need too....
Also into The Vikings, same kinda period blood and gore stuff.

I started reading the books in '96. Aggrevating cause I finished the last book 18 hours after buying it. Hoping HBO has a better endgame planned than The Great Bearded Glacier does

Love GOT! just started watching a couple months ago and am current now. Don't remember who got clipped in that specific episode, but when someone gets it your totally not expectingit. Someone else mentioned Walking Dead, I'm not a fan of zombie stuff but EVERY FREAKING episode ends on a cliff hanger and you HAVE to watch the next one. I've got like 4 episodes till current and I just started watching like 2 months ago.

GOT must be good because It's the only TV show I have watched in the last 20 years or so (when was Friends?).
We are currently 3 episodes behind due to my work and family (sick parents) obligations. Thanks to all of you for not ruining the plot.

My wife and I considered kalisi (sp) for our daughter's name lol. We ended up going a different direction because we saw it was increasing in popularity.

@BREWnQ if you haven't finished off the Walking Dead season 4 yet go and do it right now!  The ending of the last episode makes me think season 5 is going to be insane, and fall can't come soon enough.

@BYS1981 my wife and I were thinking about using the name Aria, but a quick search on google shows that all of the names from GOT are hitting an all time high in popularity.

This reminded my that I started an Audible subscription 6 months ago so I had 6 credits available.  I just purchased books 1-5.  The books are 33-49 hours long each!

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
