Could be your monitor wires. As long as you're able to maintain proper temp it really won't matter in terms of your cook.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.____________________Aurora, Ontario, Canada

yeah I am able to maintain temps , it just doenst seem right ,
its not the wires as this happens all the time

Mine will leak a bit like that when using the sensors. I have a Rutland gasket, it's a perfect seal, but those cables allow a bit of smoke to escape. When using a temp controller (I have an auber) I can easily hold 200 degrees with the leak slo I'm not concerned. In the bush just East of Cambridge,Ontario

If it were me, nothing. I get smoke like that on some cooks and not on others (my gasket is completely shot).---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. Time to adjust. My dome has a slight over bite. Because of this you can see the indentation in the gasket. This tells me I have a solid seal. Dollar bill test works for me as well. You tube has some videos that are handyLBGE& SBGE———————————————•———————– Pennsylvania / poconos

You need to loosen the band bolts and align them so the spacing is equal all the way around. The tendency is to drive the bands to the ridges on the egg and that is usually too much spread. Can't see all that well from your pic but that would be my guess. Have a heavy friend weight the dome when you are re-tightening.

Show us another pic without the smoke. The spacing is set by the spacing on the hinge. That should be consistent all the way around.

Here is a pic that I showed Husker yesterday. I shows the bands in relation to the ridges on the egg.

No, look at your bands compared to mine. Yours are pushed right up to the ridges, mine are closer together. Near the hinge yours are closer too.
I just use the attach file/insert/delete.

When using phone to upload pics. After you select photo and it uploads press the actual photo with your finger. After you press the photo you'll see insert image/delete. Press insert image. It will go full size in the body. Good luckLBGE& SBGE———————————————•———————– Pennsylvania / poconos
