Boudin and Stuffed Turkey Wings
Options
When you live in south Louisiana sometimes gas stations and meat markets are synonymous. Stopped by the Shell station on the way home and picked up some boudin, stuffed turkey wings, and fresh sausage. First time cooking stuffed turkey wings and they were awesome. Next time I will fill the grill.

I live in Youngsville. Boudin is a rice/pork link. It is made with cooked ingredients so there is no need to cook it further but it's great on the grill.

Oh, I forgot to read the turkey wing label but it had garlic and onions not sure what else.

Legedouj,You are right down the road from one of my favorite meat stores - Best Stop Supermarket on LA 93 in Scott, LA. I also like Don's Chops and if I remember correctly, DJ's.Every once in a while, I will drive from Atlanta to Opelousas to visit family and make sure to fill up my ice chests with meat from the area shops.I miss being back home..."You can live in any city in America, but New Orleans is the only city that lives in you."Chris Rose

There are so many places! Chops burned down but they should be just about done rebuilding. I want to try a stuffed chicken on the egg. Any of you Cajuns try it?
