    @MrCookingNurse‌ I have one and really like it. Takes about 5 seconds to lock in temp. Display rotates and lights up. Auto shuttoff too. Hard to beat for the quality and price. I bought the BGE version of fold out light up display fast read thermo for 80$ and still have a bad taste in my mouth because it is a huge piece of crap.

    I agree.  I really like my Thermopen, but for only a couple of seconds slower and $72 savings, I think I'd try the "Pop."

    There are some reviews on youtube, looks decent. I like the thermapen though

    i have the predecessor to it, and it does the job for me; I would assume the thermopop will work just fine for others on a budget.   i don't have the money to get the Thermapen quiet yet...

    I have 2 and they work great in the kitchen and on the BGE.

    My thermapen came in yesterday but SWMBO confiscated it before i could bust it out of the packaging and is making me wait till my birthday.  its terrible

    Got a thermopop on open box sale. It has worked great so far. Much more economical than thr thermopen.
