I'd like to see Dustin Johnson, Jason Dufner, Brandt Snedeker or Matt Kuchar win it.  Gonna be a great tourney.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if the winner came from that group.

I like Freddie, Mark O'Meara, or maybe Jason Dufner.

I just hope it's entertaining and not boring

We're on the eve of the tournament now!

Kills me that I can't take off work tomorrow or Friday to watch and enjoy.  I'll make up for it in the evenings and this weekend though.

    @hapster - I completely agree - don't want a boring finish on Sunday.

@YEMTrey - I can't wait! Not able to take off work, but I have the mobile app on my phone. Plan on trying to catch the par 3 contest in a few hours and some of the coverage tomorrow and Friday until I get home.

My experience was if I wanted a up close look is:  I pick a par 3 green that's close to the tee of the next hole.  That way I can watch them coming up and putting, then just have little walk to watch them driving the ball.  That way I don't have to deal w/the crowd as much. If you like one particular golfer i.e. a contender then just follow him after he tees off.

Just got back from AZ, Waste Mgr and Match Play @ Dove Mt. it worked just fine.

Hope this helps & keep an eye on that rookie Jordan :)

I saw most of the round and he didn't play well at all......drove it loose, irons were off and even his short game was suspect.  Can't have two 7s on the card and score around that place.  That said, with a 68 or '9, he can get right back in the thick of it tomorrow.  And if anyone can go low at ANGC, it's him.  I could be wrong, but I don't see anyone running away with this one.

Impressive opening round and even more impressive at 54.  Would love to see him contend and possibly even win, just don't think he has the putter for it on that course over four days.  Hope I'm wrong though.

I bet Mickelson's back is messed up. He looked really tight and the announcers even brought it up.

I thought so too.....right when I tuned in, he had just tripled 7 and then teed off on 8 with an iron....which is a par 5.  I don't think Phil has teed off with an iron on a par 5 in his life.  Faldo made mention of it that his full swing might be painful.

Watched the replay on tv tonight. Green grass leaves on trees and flowers? Is this some sort of time warp other universe I was watching? We still have some snow in lower Michigan.

Adam Scott's round was very impressive.

Dufner and Johnson really **** the bed on the first day.  Funny how all the same names find their games when they drive down Magnolia Lane, ie. Olazabal, Jimenez, Couples, etc.  Great to see these guys playing well.

Should be a great weekend of golf.

I was really glad to see Adam Scott come out and shoot a good score. Same with Bubba. Would be awesome for Freddie to make a push today and tomorrow to get himself within distance. I'd also watch out for Rory. He had a solid round yesterday and could easily take the lead in the next day or two.

Agreed.  Really pleased with Bubba's play yesterday.  Got it around pretty well and outside of some missed shorties would have posted a better number.
