I have a NIB bottom for a large BGE. I got it with the plan of eventually buying the top and innards but never did. How much can I or should I sell for?

First off, let me state that I am a fan of large bottoms.I think your best customer would be someone who dropped their egg or doesn't have a warranty. I would find out what it cost to replace through a dealer, and advertise it for half.Another way to look at it is I think a large egg with no warranty (even if new) will go for about $500. You could find out what all the other parts will cost and price it accordingly. $500 - (sum of all other parts) = value of large bottom.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

I will let it go cheap, I do not care about fair value on my end or anything. I just want it out of my garage ha. Has been there like a year. I would sell for like $100 even, I imagine that is pretty cheap from cost from a dealer.Boom

Where are you located? For $100 I'd buy it to have on hand as a spare just in case (I have room to store way too much crap). But I suspect shipping it here would be far more than it was to purchase.Mt Elgin Ontario - just a Large.

Well if anyone here is interested or knows anyone interested just let me knowBoom

I would also be all over it if I were closer. As a used purchaser, I have no warranty and personally think these things are all destined to crack eventually. My dad's did finally after 10 yearsl

@FanOfFanboys if you don't find a buyer in a few weeks or so let me know and I'll take it. Right now the lawn and garden dept at lowes is getting all my extra cash. :-qSlumming it in Aiken, SC.
