hey guys-
i could use some sagely advice from the elders here...
i have great success with boston butts by cooking about 2 hours per pound at 250 degrees, i was wondering how long i need to cook beef brisket per pound at 250 degrees. thanks.

Pipedream,
The rule of thumb I have seen on here is 1.5 to 2 hours per pound. I did an 8 lb. brisket this past weekend. It cooked 10 hours then 2 hours in the cooler, wrapped in foil. It turned out perfect. From what I hear on the forums, every piece of meat has its own personality. Some cook faster, some slower.
