Cooked Fresh Yellowtail Steak (pics)
Options
Mini, direct, 350F dome. My first direct fish cook. Salt and pepper and then on the grill. Twenty minutes each side. Coated it with a mixture of mayo and sweet hot pepper sauce the final five minutes. It was the best fish that I have ever eaten!

That's no Yellowtail, maybe Yellowfin, sure hope it was medium rare and you had some wasabi nearby!

Yup Yellowtail. Pacific Yellowtail. A very common sport fish in our Pacific Coast area. Seems that there are over 100 fish with the name Yellowtail.
