Took a shot at turbo ribs today

I am officially a convert...3 racks of baby backs mustard and a mixture of several rubs I had left in the pantry. Cooked close to two hours at 350, used a mixture of peach chunks and cherry chips for smoke. Finished with Blues Hog 50/50...my Significant other said best ribs yet and I am inclined to agree.....no more foil, no more 3/X/X rib cooks for me...

Is that 350 at dome or at the grid? In putting two racks on now!

@fusionhq for the most part when someone here mentions temp without specifying they mean dome.fusionhq said:Is that 350 at dome or at the grid? In putting two racks on now!

That's what I figured. Thanks!

OK, I'm wrong. I thought turbo was 350* dome, ignore grid temp? I guess aprox 25* doesn't really matter as long as you do bend and/or toothpick test.They/Them

I should have specified, I had probe clipped to the grate, just forgot to say that.Large BGE Middletown, MD

So on the Turbo (Nitro) ribs; yes they are done with the bend test, but how long did yours take?

welcome to the turbo club! It is both turbo butts and turbo ribs for me and I haven't gone back to low & slow in 2 years now! No need to!Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.
