My Maverick and Digiq read 2 diffrent numbers

My Maverick is reading 250 where the Digi q is reading 210 .

Any thoughts ? or ideas ? which one do i go by ? ? ?

    Did you check them both in boiling water? If so, I would go by DigiQ. I think its a thermocouple vs thermistor in the Maverick.

    Boil water on the stove and put the probes in the boiling water. 212* F/100* C at sea level.

    So the Maverick was right and the digi is off by 12c
    is there any way to  calibrate the digi q ?

    Using the Black Cast Iron grill, Plate Setter,
     and a BBQ Guru temp controller.

    Medium BGE in custom modified off-road nest.
    Black Cast Iron grill, Plate Setter, and a Party-Q temp controller.

    Location: somewhere West of the Mason-Dixon Line
