Eggfests in Michigan, how do we get a dealer to have one?

I have asked a couple of dealers if they ever plan on having one. I usually get the we are too busy, or don't think it's worth the time answer.

Anyone from Michigan have any different answers?

I'm on the west side of the state and would like to attend an eggfest. Hermans Boy (Rockford, MI) is a big dealer in the area. Has anyone talked to them about an eggfest?

just stumblin in from my niece's wedding reception. Yeah, it's about time for a Michigan eggfest. YOU need to talk to your dealer. "Has anyone talked to this dealer or that" ain't gonna get us an eggfest. Since you have a relationship with your dealer (I'm assuming you talk to the dealer when you're handing him money.), YOU are the ideal person to talk to them about hosting an eggfest. What good will it do for example ME to talk to your dealer when he has never met me? I mean I'm a decent bullsh!t artist, but I'm not that good.

Have any of you Michigan folks been to The Prized Pig in Niles? He's a member on The BBQ Brethren and he's doing some good things there. Cooking Texas Style Brisket too.

Yeah, that's the odd thing. He's been slammed since he's opened and has been selling out of meat every day.
