BEst store bought BBQ sauce. Haven't seen this thread run in a while

I have been using the same BBQ sauce for 10 years. I have never had anything that comes close to being as well balaned. Sweet but not candy with a bit of heat on the back. I have no ties to this stuff other than the fact that I love it. Not sure it is distributed nationally I get it my local egg dealer. Outdoor kitchen store in tampa

Blues Hog Original. I buy it by the gallon

  • Sweet Baby Rays and rich and sassy from famous Dave's are always good but the best so far is made by a local farm around Mankato MN called Blackberry Blaze. It's amazing with sweet blackberries and a chipotle kicker.

@mickey what do you put Bad Byron's Butt Rub on? I have only used the Dizzy Pig rubs, but I plan on picking up BBBR soon.

I've always used sweet baby rays as well.  Love it.  But recently I tried this recipe, it may be the best I have ever had. Can't get enough.  My wife which is not a big sauce fan loves this stuff.  Follow the instructions to the T and you will have one hell of a sauce.  It gets better as it sits in the fridge......

Head Country, Stubbs mixed with a little honey. For the BBBR order online. I think I paid under $40 for 7 lbs. They sent a coozie, shirt and a fridge magnet along with a personalized note. 7 lbs sounds like a bunch but it goes faster than you think. I ordered HC in bulk...rub and sauce.

  • Sticky Pig is king of a new favorite around my house.  I like it a lot, though it's a bit sweet for everyday.  My wife loves it on everything.  SWMBO's favorite = my favorite :p.

I hate to admit this...but I was in Wally world and I was searching for a sauce that didn't contain high fructose corn syrup.  This was the only one I found.  It was actually pretty darn good!

Also, if you haven't tried making a sauce I think Aaron Franklin's basic sauce is really good and dead simple.  @Griffin has the recipe here:

Griffin- don't be mad that I referenced you and the mayor of flavortown in the same post ;)

Here is a link to the youtube with the sauce recipe as well.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
