So, I smoked a pork butt over the weekend and I noticed something. When I'm cooking on my egg, especially a low and slow like butt or ribs, my wife gets a little "gracious." (Keeping it clean here. . . u get my meaning.)
Anyone else notice this trend, or does God just love me?!?

It makes mine very happy as well! I have one large and we had a lot of family over this weekend, and I needed more room. I told her I wanted another large and a new table that would hold both of them.

My wife loves the Egging/camp fire smell too. She laughed at me last Monday because she wasn't sure she had the energy.......so I went upstairs and put on Sunday nights shirt (I egged up a loin on Sunday night)and came back downstairs, and guess what when she stopped laughing she realized she had enough energy left for me.

My wife is a pain in the ass no matter what comes of the egg she says it too smokey weather I smoked it or not I make whole chickens in the egg with just lump no wood for smoking and she says it's too smokey she has a mental block that everything that comes from the egg is smokey2 Large Eggs and a Mini 2 Pit Bulls and a Pork shoulder or butt nearby and 100% SICILIANLong Island N.Y.
