it was just something different that I saw. Brushed with oil salt n pepper. Came out really good and if I was @cazzy or @hapster I prolly could've made it look really cool

Lol...thanks for the compliment. I'd eat them!

I've found its hard to make anything look cool when it's sitting on foil. Try putting them on a plate next time or even a plated shot w/ the chicken. To practice, take 4 shots from different angles and post the one that looks best. Practice makes perfect.

lookin good! Google "kettle fried chicken" for something similar. i would also like to hear more about the cauliflower steaks? do you parboil or anything first?

http://whatscookingamerica.net/Vegetables/CauliflowerSteaks-Roasted.htm Followed the directions pretty much to the letter. You have to start from the center and work your way out and dont cut to much of the base off. I put them on a sheet pan with foil under neath the chicken. Next time ill add some shakin the tree rub.
