First cook will definitely be some pig shots and probably bacon wrapped chicken breast topped with BBQ sauce and cheese. Might try that grilled cabbage I saw a couple days ago also.

You won't regret the XL. And don't buy into the nonsense that it burns a lot more lump. A little yes, but not a ton more. Shut it down at the end of the cook and use the unburned for the next cook.

Welcome to the forum. Do the cabbage, it is easy and will go great with the chicken. Another tasty foil package is chopped up apples, a pat of butter, a little sugar and cinnamon. Cook right beside the cabbage packets, start checking at 45 minutes for tenderness and then plate all three together!

so your off to a great start... only thing you should consider now is a thermapen (backlit) and you should be set for a long while.... dont forget to check out the post on the eggsesories that people bought and dont use.....wasted money. its an informative one for everyone here.
