Cause I am a sucker for an good deal. Local store has CAB flats that have looked pretty nice size wise but a little rich @ $5.99lb. Picket this one 4lb marked down from $25 for $14. Trimmed a few spots and she is on.
Just did a 12lb packer on Saturday it was gone Sunday so this is pushing it but practice makes perfect huh.
Should be done in a few on since 12, in the mini is pushing it since the drip pan and grease are so close to then fire but i wanted to give it a shot .

What's all that green stuff on the ground? My ground is white right now....I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

I'm excited to see this. I might have an excuse to buy the little ones.

Results are in....solid piece of meat CAB flat made all the difference. Very moist for a flat I left fat cap on for slicing.
Franklins key might be all about the meat

Best yet and only change was the meat....
Mini for 5.5 hours 250-275 all the way to 190. Wrapped while other stuff was cooking 15 mins or so.
Top is a nice mix of fat cap, meat, then more fat then meat.Seattle, WA -
