I'm planning on building a large table with shelfs with doors on each side of my egg. My question is do you think with the doors on each side will it affect the air flow on the bottom vent? Most tables i see are open around the egg.

No it won't, but if you're building it out of wood, I'd get a table nest so you have an air gap between your egg and table. Good luck and show pics when you're done.
