Is Peyton the greatest qb ever? This guy has tattoos and wears his hat wrong. NFC, AFC, NBA, MLB... Spatchcock or vertical, woo or placesetter, foil or not, traeger or egg...sometimes we get heated up a little.

Jake and I went to see Lone Survivor today. A slap in the face reminding me that most the things we get torqued up about doesn't amount to a pile of horse ****. One of the most uncomfortable films I've set through since Passion of the Christ. Dead silence as people flocked out. I don't know if I'll want to see it again for a while but maybe I need to. I'd urge you to go see it.

It's a fabulous movie and is better than Saving Private Ryan because it captures the reality of a true event.  SPR obviously was about Normandy in WWII, but I felt truly connected to the characters in Lone Survivor.  No other movie has done that to me, and was very intense throughout.  I've seen it twice and would pay to see it again.

Oh, see it again Tony.  I actually liked it better the second time.  I guess it was less shocking so I was able to enjoy the filmography more.

Dud, there was one of the Tom Hanks/Meg Ryan chick flicks that has a scene where the girls were talking about the a 1950's film and they started crying cause it was so sad. Then the boys start talking about The Dirty Dozen and they start bawling about the deep nature of the film. You have to see both. Sleepless in Seattle I think. Watch The Dirty Dozen first.

Will do...maybe that's why I didn't get the scene when I saw it in elementary.

My recent boss, COL Cory Youmans is a typical hero no one ever heard of.  Served a tour of duty in country, despite some health issues.  My co-worker Jovanna, who is both beautiful and a hard charging helicopter pilot, and her husband who ran the Rough Riders convoy team in Iraq, and they lost a son, in service to the country.  I frequently feel unworthy of working with the folks I do.

I've only seen that once, leaving Schindler's List.  I could never watch that film again, but I feel every human on the planet SHOULD see it.  Once.
Thanks for the head's-up, Henapple.  Don't know if I'll see it but thanks.

    GET IT!

I'm not a big fan of reading but my wife got me the book for Christmas. I read it in a couple days.
I learned in the book that the body can do anything the mind will let it.
