Big Green Egg - EGGhead Forum - The Ultimate Cooking Experience...
We’re feeling pretty super, how about you? The big game is fast approaching, and while we love football, we love an excuse to invite people over and cook even more! You too can cook like a champion with recipes from Dr. BBQ’s NFL Gameday Cookbook: Grilled Tuna Sandwiches from Seattle and Baked Brie from New England. Who’s going to win? You’ll have to cook both to find out.

Would a strong smell (like vindaloo) ruin an egg?

My wife is out of town for three days and I love making vindaloo but she won't let me cook it inside.
Could I cook it on the egg and if so, would the smell just trash it?

Yes you can cook it. It won't mess with the egg. Clean burn if necessary.

Not a problem, I cook spicy aromatic tandoori chicken in my eggs often.

You WANT to cook things like that in your egg!  It keeps the house from smelling like masala for 4 days AND it turns out better.

You just caused 5,000 Google searches for vindaloo.  I don't think any contaminent could survive a burn out.
