No egging today... Have to bang out my stupid annual self appraisal, such a pain in the ass

Tonight, after a successful jambalaya last week; my wife wants me to try another Cajun dish this week. So I am going to attempt to make Shrimp Etouffee from Emeril's Real & Rustic cookbook... This will be done on the stove; but at least I'll get a chance to use my SS Dutch Oven again, I really think I'm going to like that particular pot.

Egging tomorrow without a doubt; just not sure what yet...

Self evals blow! Stop being lazy and tell me how great or horrible I'm doing! Instead, you make me get all humble and honest, then change most of the crap I spent time on anyway.

Should be easy. Loving husband and devoted father, excellent cook with gourmet tastes in all things alcohol specializing in rums, judge of fine cigars while contributing to the social fabric of a great team of people who share similar interests, values and goals.

LOL... Yep. And this is just mine... after Monday, I have 2 weeks to do one for each of my 14 guys. The whole process gets repeated in June for the interim appraisals. A big chunk of my year is devoted to trying to be like Hemmingway

Self evaluations are the suck.

And unfortunately, like yourself Hap, no egging for me either today. Have a wedding to go to. Tomorow and Monday should be a different story though.

I'm in the same boat, except I had to do my self eval yesterday and I'm not egging today because I have to take my 6 year old to see the Fresh Beat Band. :(

SWMBO has already told me that I am not allowed to bring earbuds and listen to Spotify on my phone. She clearly knows me too well!

I don't know Hap, there's more to it.

The wedding is for a gal at work and my entire department is going to be there. I see them all week long and don't really care to spend my weekends doing the same.

My manager will be there as well, and he's the type where not going would have an adverse impact on my work life.

LOL... I had a crappy day yesterday, had to fire another guy. That's 5 in 13 months, 2 of the 5 being twin brothers, don't ask...

Anyway, I had a daddy daughter date last night. We agreed to not talk about school or work the entire night. We had a blast, and I'm glad that I had the good sense to put that time with my daughter ahead of any work crap...
