Hi There
Be gentle 'cause this is my first time. Have read the forum for a couple of months and it is really informative. Everyone is so helpful. Here is my question. Hope you can help. I am looking for a teriyaki brine or rub. Have use Jerkey Cure, all there flavors and am quite tired of them. I do 20Lb at a time and it still does not last long. Can anyone help[p]Mac

    Mac,
A good recipe was posted a ways back by George in September.[p]3/4 cup soy sauce
    3/4 cup Orange juice
    1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup veggie oil (omit for foul)
    4 cloves crushed garlic
    1/2 chopped onion
1/4 cup thinly sliced ginger root
2 tps black pepper[p]Sounds excellent, but maybe add some wine, which is usually in Teryaki. Says marinate beef 12-24 hours, poultry 1-3 hours. [p]The recipe sounds great. I haven't tried it yet. But from the way it reads, we can thank Houndog for a great one!![p]NB[p]

<p />Mac, check out the new recipe section for "River City Beef Jerky" - I usually marinate it for about 12 hours prior to the 12 hours it spends on the grill. I typically make it about every 2-3 weeks. Alsoi check out the link. At the bottom of the page, click on search and type in - jerky[p]Good luck!
