Guys:
I am looking for a cover for my LBGE with the long table. I found a couple, but I like the looks of this Two Dogs Design khaki cover at Wayfair. http://www.wayfair.com/Two-Dogs-Designs-Round-Grill-Smoker-with-Long-Table-Cover-TWO1203.html. Does anyone have any experience or other suggestions?
Thanks.

I did a lot of research but ended up buying the cheapest one I could find, by a Duck Covers: http://www.amazon.com/Duck-Covers-MBBLGEC-Grill-Cover/dp/B00ESL4PQC/ref=sr_1_4?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1389071672&sr=1-4 It has worked great so far, even in a couple of downpours. It seems to be much more breathable than the BGE cover, at about 1/3 the cost. It ain't the prettiest, but it's good enough for me!

Once you cover your Egg be very careful removing it or you may pull the ceramic cap off with the cover and break it !

Thanks, Drummer. I may check that out, especially for that cost. The biggest thing I want to do is keep the table looking better. Good tip, calracefan; I will make sure to be careful.

I have a BGE cover for my egg/table that I received for Christmas, are there concerns about the breathability of the the cover and what are the ramifications? It worked really well during our 10" of snow this weekend...

My concern is primarily cost. I want to just provide some protection for the BGE and table without dropping $100+.

I have the two dog designs cover in black and it works great. Good quality, sturdy and breathable. Pretty light as well...maybe not as light as the duck cover but not as heavy as the BGE cover. Imho, for the extra $25 I would go with two dog (free shipping if you order through home depot btw) .MichaelWinston Salem, NC

The Duck cover was only $43, thats pretty cheap compared to the BGE cover

Agreed. Looks like a good product at a good price. Just didn't want to pay the BGE prices. -
Just be sure to get a quality cover - here's what happened to my brothers cheapo gasser cover at minus 9 degrees - forzen and cracked.

I don't know what all this discussion is about I have the BGE covers and I love them the covers are outside all the time and they hold up to the extreme heat and extreme cold I believe that you get what you pay for yeah the BGE covers are expensive but they work and they last2 Large Eggs and a Mini 2 Pit Bulls and a Pork shoulder or butt nearby and 100% SICILIANLong Island N.Y.

If your gonna spend a grand on egg and another 200-400 on a table what's another 100.I have 3 bge covers and they are worth the money.

I went with the BGE cover myself. I did consider giving the Duck Cover a shot, but Amazon did not have them in stock when I looked, and the turnaround time buying directly from them was something like four or six weeks, I believe. I went back to my dealer I bought the egg from and ask him for a 10% discount, which he obliged. Keep one thing in mind, though: if you built your own table, the large long table cover will fit precisely the size of the BGE large table. I made my table slightly deeper than the BGE table, and my large table cover would not fit properly. If your table is larger than 24 inches deep x 60 inches wide, it won't fit. I ended up returning mine and getting the XL table cover and it works just fine. It is slightly saggy on the egg itself, but I do like having the extra breathing room around the egg to prevent mold and mildew.Athens, GA
