First Time Butt, Going Turbo

Did my first pork butt today for New Years. Decided to go turbo for the heck of it. I've read enough here to know that it produces pretty solid results.

Since this is the new years pork, I started some sour kraut in the crock pot incide and threw in some kielbasa at the last minute.

9.5 lb but, no foil, 350 on the egg, took right about 6hrs. Pulled at 205, as I've heard 200-205.

Only for thing I can say is I'll never do it be overnight if turbo is already this good.

Smokey pork with the sour kraut and mashed potatoes just spoke to the Slovak in me.

I apologize to all of you true BBQ enthusiasts who just cried a little at this idea, but don't knock it until you've tried it.

Pics below, pre, at 160, finished, and plated. (Homemade sour kraut too!)
