Sooo.... I see that I have 11 notifications to my thread "Gunshow/Purchase" but when i click to review, the entire thread is gone. I can't even find it when I search back 24 hrs.or under "my discussions". Did the powers that be dislike gun talk??? Anyone ever have that happen?
Maybe it'll pop back up...

I clicked on it in my IE history folder......"discussion does not exist".

I'm guessing it was removed by the powers that be. Someone posted a picture containing language that might offend people in the thread.LBGE 4/2012, MBGE 6/2012 & Mini 11/2013Rome, GA

I noticed that too. I misread your post about what thunder stick you acquired. When I went back to correct myself(I thought you had grabbed the 40) it was gone.

Hubby got the 40, I got 9mmLBGE 4/2012, MBGE 6/2012 & Mini 11/2013Rome, GA

I remember. My wife didn't like the 9 because they have poor stopping power(her opinion)

I couldn't rack the choice of 40's I had or I would have bought one. Perhaps in the future as I develop as a shooter...I did get hollow points to do more damage if need be.LBGE 4/2012, MBGE 6/2012 & Mini 11/2013Rome, GA

Do you want to see if this thread can go kaput? I bet it was Travis with a certain meme he posted. I know it well.

Her opinion is that 9mm don't go deep enough to incapacitate. I suppose aim is the most important thing.

I will def be practicing my aim frequently.I also wanted a smaller gun to carry on me/purse/coat pocket etc w/a little less kick hence my choice for now.LBGE 4/2012, MBGE 6/2012 & Mini 11/2013Rome, GA

My wife doesn't mind the 229 and she is medium build(5'5", 130). She used a paddle holster when riding the train or on assignment and kept it in her purse while driving into work in her G-ride. Give it a try. She wears business suits for work(frame of reference) and had to conceal at all times.

I just had some guys attend a Hornady Ammunition demonstration. Their 9mm critical defense ammo penetrated heavy clothing and about 14 inches of ballistics gel. It is one of few 9mm that psses the FBI requirements for duty use. But shot placement is always the key.Teedoff said:Eggcelsior said:

This is what I have loaded at all times.
