Do not ever do this........

Have @lakewade over to your home after he calls and says "my mom just left and I want to do some tequila shots".

That is all. I will be in bed if you need me.

I didn't know anyone could drink you under the couch. I know you are sleeping on it, but I am really curious how you climbed up on it.

I guarantee TFJ won't tolerate you in your real
bed, unless she is the greatest masochist ever.

  • we actually didn't drink any tequila but he pretty much set the tone with that statement. We had 2 bottles of primo wine, a (full) bottle of fancy bourbon and half a handle of Tito's. Tequila would have been a gift at that point.

I'm really glad my kids are older. They pointed and laughed when I came downstairs this morning.

You need some gravy in you. Best hangover remedy ever. Its antidote effect is multiplied by a few hamburger patties, hashbrowns, and eggs piled oon top of each other. Called "The Stack" in college and it worked wonders.

sadly, that sounds awesome. Think i'm going to have to go with what we like to call "The Trifecta". Water, Coffee, Bloody Mary, repeat as needed.

  • I had to start the day with a cup of Luke warm baileys. The wife lady thought it was coffee. Hair of the dog was the only way for me to get out of bed.
Be careful, man! I've got a beverage here.

  • I've now gone through several bottles of wine and am now on titos and lemonade. Only god can save me now.

@Skiddymarker - one would think that you poutine-loving savages would have put some gravy on all of that. Gravy is the key! :)

At least he showed up with these (2 snake River farms Waygu Briskets). I mean if you are going to wreck someone's Christmas, the least you could do is drop some boutique meats on your way out the door. image

  • Also, never spray a grease fire with a hose. It's counterproductive.

Thanks to you and TFJ for a great time and good wine.  The bourbon was great too, though I would gladly un-drink that now if that was a possibility.  And that duck was so good - definitely going to try that at home soon.  Merry Christmas!

It's lukewarm.  The force wasn't with you today my friend.

You know you have done it right when you "have to rally to die" upon waking up. I did not get that far adrift last night but tonight is still young.  Merry Christmas all!

  • Ha! I've got some hangover food prepared :)

Grapefruit vodka is a summer drink, you need whiskey....

    ·
  • Busted! I fixed my cut later...I was about 6 or so slices in before I caught myself. Ah well, whisky river take my mind.
