Thanks to @SMOKINDAWG82 nice mix of rubs and sauces from Atlanta.  I can't wait to use the Mango Chutney on some wings this weekend!  A brisket will be done some time this week as well.  Thank you Rick.

I had the privilege to receive my gift from @cookinbob today.  Wow...what a box.  Alot of good stuff from NY.  I am looking forward trying the mustards, asian bbq, and the mojito marinade.

The gumbo recipe will definitely be added to the menu rotation, especially on gamedays.

I really enjoyed the writeup & pics.  Will keep you updated on future cooks.

    Thanks again Bob!

I have been a Bad Santa.  I just bought my stuff tonight and I'm sending it tomorrow.  If you live in the Midwest and you don't receive your package in the next couple of days, I'm probably your Santa.  Sorry.

Hey @RLeeper, that was from me, but it looks like you're missing some John Henry's Texas Chicken Tickler rub (which is awesome!).

The peri-peri sauce is my favorite thing ever for wings.

The sauce goddess sauce is a good local find, I especially like it on ribs.

Scotty B's is a SoCal hot sauce treasure, and come-on, its bacon jalapeno hot sauce! Has to be good!

The Golden toad is actually from Colorado (I think) and I like it on steak, but LOVE it on potatoes, especially roasted under a spatchcock bird with the John Henry's Texas Chicken Tickler!

I'll reach out today and ask why that didn't make it to you.

In any event, I hope you enjoy. This has been really fun!

    Cheers -

P.S. - My original plan included BB Butt Rub, but I went stalker and noticed you've tried it before and usually cut it with something less salty. Homework completed!

I like the Montgomery Inn Sauce....however, the ribs I had at their (original?) location near the SpeedWay were lackluster.  They tasted boiled.

Anyway, the sauce will be better on anything ya'll cook than at the restaurant

My Elfs just went out yesterday (sorry but as I said before I had to be away for work) Was supposed to be 4 day delivery but with customs who knows. I know my elf sent his because I got a pm outlining how to use one of the items but no sign yet. Likely customs again.

    Hello All,
Just received two awesome packages from @nissan97240 and I'm really excited to try out all of my new goodies. First is a duo of rubs from Slow & Low BBQ Bar + Grill, which I think is a local(ish?) spot for @nissan97240 given that he's in central Florida and S&L is in Cocoa Beach. The rubs both smell awesome! Second is a six pack of sauces from Whole Hog Cafe, which seems to be based in Arkansas but has a few locations in New Jersey and New Mexico as well. I'm definitely thinking a 'sauce your own' pulled pork party might be in order very soon...

Thank you very much @nissan97240; I would probably never have come across these guys if it wasn't for you!

Huge thanks to @dweebs0r as well. This exchange was a great idea and I know a fair bit of work must have gone into making it happen.

    Pics or it didn't happen:

    Cheers-

Don't get too excited now. There were limited non-spicy choices. Fish might not be in the greatest shape right now. Supposed to deliver tomorrow

Big thanks to @chris_wang for the box if loot I found on my front step late last night! Some Williamson Bros BBQ sauce, Bad Byron's Butt Rub, some oak chunks and some peach wood chip! I've never used peach wood (being in Wisconsin, there are few peach trees here). What would go best with it? Thanks again!image<img

Glad you got it @stoogie! Peach wood is good with pretty much anything. I would say try it with pork and chicken first. Then beef. The only thing I didn't like it paired with was Salmon. Other than that, it's really good. I hope you like the Williamson Bros sauce as well.

And then of course you can't have enough Bad Byron's or too many oak chunks.

I wish Sir! double d meats is my favorite butcher shop. They have isles of rubs and hot sauces. Had to look long and hard for nothing that had "natural " flavor a hope you enjoy.
