Smoked Turkey--First Post

Options
Long time lurker/learner posting for the first time. I'm use the egg all of the time and am finally learning the patience necessary for temp control. The week after Thanksgiving the local market has brined turkey breasts on sale. I rubbed it down with the Dizzy Pig Red Eye express and smoked it for 4.5 hours at 225-250. It was incredible.

I've spent a ton of time making pizzas, spatchcocked chickens, turbo ribs and an attempt or two at pulled pork.

Congrats and welcome, looks like you're off to a great start.  In case you didn't read this in your lurking:  Pics or it didn't happen.  Most of us here love food porn.

If your posting from a phone (mines a iphone5) you'll have to shrink them. This site is pretty forgiving actually. I usually just take the pic a little wide then crop it a little. There's also apps that will resize the whole pic too. Oh and welcome to the group!

Welcome! Sounds like a great cook. I need to try smoking turkey. I've only spatched and roasted. Sounds great!
