Mom's Birthday Dinner Tonight

So we are cooking dinner for my mom's birthday tonight. Just 10 days after her bday, the price she pays for being a world traveler. Got some bacon wrapped dates stuffed with marscapone cheese, ribeyes, sweet potatoes, salad, and a pineapple upside down cake I made yesterday on the egg. I have done a few reverse sears with 1.5"-2" thick ribeyes. Can I do a reverse sear with a 1" thick ribeye? I appreciate the help, as I don't want to ruin moms nice looking steak!
