Saturday Shopping & Cook (maybe)

Morning all...
Heading to the store shortly to do the annual Thanksgiving shopping in addition to whatever else I need... scaling it back a bit this year due to the smaller crowd; but it will be just as tasty (I hope)
Not sure what if anything I may be egging later today, Elise is going on a sleep over and the wife wants to go out shopping/movies/ & dinner...
So maybe Sunday might be my only egging this weekend.

Well the shopping is done... Just have to order the pies from the local orchard.
Going to cook the sausage for the stuffing and a few turkey necks either today or tomorrow. The sausage is for the stuffing and the necks are for the stock for my gravy later this week.
Picked up two 8# breast and two thighs for the meal. Doing one breast first that will be sliced for sandwiches later in the day; and then the second one with the thighs for dinner.
Check the dome Thermo just to make sure I'm close before starting to cook.

Hap thanks for the reminder I have not checked the calibration on my dome thermo in awhile and really don't need any issues on Turkey Day.DavidBBQ since 2010 - Oh my, what I was missing.

@hapster Thanks for the reminder here as well. I have been meaning to check it for awhile. My dome was reading 10* lower than actual. My Mav and other cheapo wireless (and of course Thermapen) were all dialed in.They/Them
