yzzi That looks like a sicilian pizza with out the cheese their is a famous pizzeria in Brooklyn N.Y. called Spumoni Garden that makes their sicilian pie just like that but the cheese is under the sauceIMO it's the best sicilian pie I have ever eaten2 Large Eggs and a Mini 2 Pit Bulls and a Pork shoulder or butt nearby and 100% SICILIANLong Island N.Y.

Sounds similar. No cheese on this except the parmesean. The dough is more bread like than pizza like, and the sauce is a sweet herby sauce that I just haven't been able to replicate yet.Dunedin, FL

Best tomato pie I ever ate was at a Pub in Crosswicks NJ. Still trying to duplicate that recipe, I have come close, but no cigarLarge, small and mini now Egging in Rowlett Tx
