My first Travis style

Just put a brisket on, first time trying Travis style. Goal is to finish it just before I leave for church in the morning and FTC it til lunch. Have my folks coming over, so I hope this turns out.

Will work just fine, and you don't need Shiner Bock, any bock'll do. Done this with a crappy merlot I had that was not the best to drink, but cooked up just fine, Good luck!Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!

@Jeremiah My goal is not to. With the investment I have I figure I need to use it as much as possible to get maximum value out of it.
@krobertsmsn He's set on a small. He was with me at a BGE dealer a few weeks ago and I asked him if he wanted the mini or the small. He said the mini was too small, he couldn't cook enough on it. I think I agree with him currently, small is on my wish list. Mom's not convinced yet...They/Them

It was on Woot a couple weeks ago. It just so fits on the XL. They have various other shapes and sizes as well. I think Amazon has them also.Cookinbob said:
