So it's Friday nite and I'm enjoying a drink of whiskey and searing off some some strip loins and figured I'd start this thread because I just made a boo boo and that being lighting my RO lump wearing a gore tex winter jacket cause the embers burn ....damn!!

Any other "do not do this" while egging knowledge?

Jamie. ;;)

Some of my best cooks (so I think) have come when deep into the bottle. Problem is replicating them

Newbies-- don't buy the cheap steak button thermos. Waste of $6. Oh and don't believe the guy at walmart who said, "oh of course well carry royal oak lump all winter". Nope. It looks to get expensive now.

Well the wife loved the steaks even w/o bbq sauce which is a real compliment from her:)
Just a little cowlick is all it takes LOL!!!

I thought of two more that I found out the hard way.Don' clean your grids on the egg while hot cause you will only gunk up your gasket and it will fuse between cooks and tear the gasket and dont use cheap oven mitts get welders gloves....damn that hurt lol!!!

I think she "returned" awhile back, but not sure if she was received well. We exchanged a few PMs and then she just vanished again.
