She thought...I thought...oh well....

Tonight we were having delicious burgers off the egg. She thought I already had buns...which I didn't and I thought since she was going to the store today she would bring home the buns. Well...it didn't work out that way and when supper time rolled around it was too late to make a 5 mile trip back to the nearest store. Sooooo, I toasted some whole wheat bread, smeared with Light House Blue Cheese salad dressing on the bottom and a favorite BBQsauce hidden on the underneath, plus a slice of American cheese and then buttered the top of the top bread which caused the browning. This was a meal saved at the last few minutes that we just might duplicate time and time again!
This one was mine and Pat already was enjoying hers so no picture!
Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.

Remove the onions and I would tear that up!

Looking good! Frizzle them onions with that blue cheese and you have the traditional blues burger....Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!

If I can't get onion rolls that is the way I want my burger.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

We never had buns when I was a kid. To this day I like my burgers with bread or buns.Nowhere Indiana
