Growing up we had a concrete pool that we did that but this is a vinyl liner and way too small. Besides I'm getting a little long in the tooth to be playing anymore.

I see you have several Yammies!  Maybe need to borrow it!

Just far enough north of DFW to be "rural"...and close enough to be urban, depending on my mood.

You know what it is, Travis.  We get it in Texas and NM now and then.

No snow here in Cambridge ( was a bit on the roof one morning). Stratford had some, was there Friday and saw it. Lots of rain though.

Your Berner is probably loving it!  Ours has taken to sleeping in the outside kennel through the night.  She hates the fireplace heat.

Yes -- She's 7 months as of yesterday.  70lbs.  Strong girl.  Pound for pound, I bet she's stronger than our Newf was.

I'm kind of enjoying the lack of drool factor (compared to the Newf), and she thinks she can do anything -- typical tomboy.

  • I'm turning the A/C down further so it will feel like fall.  Maybe if I get it cold enough I can get out of shorts and a t-shirt.

Yes. She shakes paws, leans on her people, and can be quite mouthy. Doesn't bite, but grabs hands to be petted. She jumps around like a cat. Pounces. Can jump straight up on all fours -- like a Jack Terrier. Dang agile for a large dog. Definitely a herder.
