Hello Everyone. My buddy is finally coming over to the Egg side of cooking. He is located on the SW side of the Chicago suburbs. Trying to get a feel on what he can expect to pay for a medium or large along with a nest and is the ash tool and grate tongs included. Thanks

From what I have read the Chicagoland area is one of the most expensive areas in the US. Maybe look at another part of the state or IN or IA. RRP is in the Peoria area and he would know.

Thanks again everyone. He is looking at $1,035.00 including tax for a large, nest, PS, ash & grill tool, bag lump, box fire starters. I believe that's everything. I told him that was a good deal.

That sounds about right for Illinois. The only way cheaper is if he waited to buy a demo egg that he uses himself for a 10% discount at the Peoria Eggfest in June. If nothing else you guys ought to plan to drive down for it as other folks from Chicago also attend as well as from St Louis. Neither of those huge cities have eggfests but this will be Peoria's 13th annual consecutive one!Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.

K, thanks RRP. will plan on hitting a few. I went to the Indy egg fest last year and had a great time. Didn't make it this year
