Hi..not handy (AT ALL) and looking for sources for PRE-BUILT tables for either Large or Medium eggs.
Have done a ton of searching but am not coming up with much great. Have seen Southern Specialties (insanely priced) and a couple of others, but the table to me is a big part of the overall config and need a good one.
Thanks!

PS - I love, love, LOVE the Primo Teak table. If I could find one like that for the BGE, I might stay green and not go black.

Used to think I wanted a table, nest and handler suiting me fine.
You build your own or its gonna cost$$ IMO.Seattle, WA -
Yeah, but the nest is pretty flimsy looking and the side tables are now....PLASTIC!!
(See my other thread. Obviously not a fan).

I'm not handy. If I'd of built one it would have taken more time and resources then I wanted to put into it. That's why I bought the BGE table. And it's beautifulXL BGE

Might check your local Craigslist. Sometimes there are some tables and/or builders of tables advertising there.

Table is probably less $$s to buy than build. At least when you factor in your time and "sweat equity".
Just wish it had some..sexiness. The Primo table is SEXY with it's nice curves, detailing, etc.
Primo has some nice ideas..still not sure I won't go to the Dark. Side. (echoes of Darth Vader..)

This is a cast aluminum table that was purchased at the same dealer my wife got the Egg. It was close to a grand I think...had it been up to me I would have found a local guy to make one from wood for about half that...but hey, my wife did this for my birthday. Like somebody suggested, I have seen them on Craigslist.

Challenger makes a great table for the eggs. Here is a link for mine.

I bought mine from woodland direct.

Don't know what you're looking for but even ebay has a few decent looking tables. If they don't flip your switch, try going to a local cabinet maker with a sketch or picture of what you're looking for.

Depending on your location, craigslist maybe a viable option. CL in Atlanta has a bunch of them. I would start with CLIn the middle of Georgia! Geaux Tigers!!!!!

The nest isn't flimsy at all. If I had one complaint, the casters are too small to roll on anything but a paved or concrete surface. I have the new egg mates and they are wood, not plastic. The egg shelves are composite plastic. They have been offered for quite a while, stand up to the elements, and are easy to clean.SmokyBear said:Yeah, but the nest is pretty flimsy looking and the side tables are now....PLASTIC!!

I'd build a table or look for a local guy on Craigslist. ANY table from ANY manufacturer will make your eyes pop out at the cost. Plus, that way your giving your money to someone vested in the product(cabinet maker, carpenter) and keeping your money in the local economy.

I have a table from JS Designs. I bought mine locally from someone I found on this forum, but I had previously spoken with the company and they will build and ship to you. I've only had mine since spring, but it has been great so far: http://jsdesignsshop.com/If you search for JS Design on this forum, you will find several posts about their tables. When I was shopping tables, I also found Cypress Grill Tables, though I can't recall whether I spoke with them: http://cypressgrilltables.com/__________________________
