We hope you all got to celebrate those tasty food holidays last week, we sure enjoyed them! We are even more excited about the beginning of fall, for so many reasons, but mainly for experiencing the cool, crisp air while being outside cooking up the best recipes the season has to offer. first rookie cook

I had my first cook on my large Egg today. Did a beer can chicken. Used Egg lump coal and some Jack Daniels wood chips...turned out awesome! Can't wait for the next cook. My previous cooker was a Chargriller Akorn...it was worthless as a smoker...had leaks all over the place. it is an egg-shaped grill...could have bought a 30 dollar grill for walmart.
