Slick egg nest from old water bed and some sweat

Had the mini for a while and got the large back in July - repurposed 1 1/2" red oak from our 30 year old unused waterbed frame and slapped on a nice piece of granite.  Looks sweet - hope it handles the 15# packer brisket and 10# of self made texas hot link sausage planned for our Hootenany this weekend.

Glass half full vs glass half empty - either way we need to open another bottle!

Great use of something you will not miss, and every time you cook you can recall those wonderful '80s waterbed moments...

Looks awesome!!!  I do hope you have a way of covering it as I doubt a waterbed frame is designed to withstand the outdoor elements even if you live in the most temperate climate.

For some reason when I saw the words "slick, water bed, and sweat" I thought this discussion sounded "dirty".  However, the table is beautiful...nice work!

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
