    Not to get technical, but according to chemistry alcohol is a solution...

  • Just curious... are you cooking it a pan or freestyle? Do you plan to go direct after it's done to brown/crisp up the exterior?

    Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.

    Freestyle is the way to go.   If you use a pan, a silver pan cooks slower than a dark (usually teflon) pan because it acts as a radiant barrier.

    I like to go freestyle. It gives the smoke flavor all around. I have done several this way and they tasted great. The last time I forgot to use a drip pan and the plate setter got some gunk on it. I was glad that I used lean meat or it would have been a lot worse.
