Does anyone use a Vitamix for making pizza dough?

Newer EGG user and tried pizza last weekend but used pre-formed pizza shells from the local grocery store. It was OK, but I'd like to try my own. I realize I can make it by hand but was curious if anyone of you used a Vitamix. Thanks in advance.

I use my food processor to make dough quite well, so a vitamix should work fine. There are a multitude of recipes via google.I use this recipe for dough.

+1 for the food processor. I have also used my stand mixer and also a bread machine. Just remove it before the baking starts.

I've tried in the blendtec....really not a whole lot of room. Use a mixer or your hands IMO.Seattle, WA

Stand mixer or by hand is my opinion. It's just too small and difficult to get everything out when trying to make dough in the Vitamix. My wife makes oatmeal pancake batter in the Vitamix that is delicious though.
