And went riding with my daughter. Every year she and I join other BMW riders to run through the Smokey Mountains. It was the DGR - Deals Gap Rally and Basecamp was Fontana Village, NC.

Made several runs of the "Tail of the Dragon" and the Cherahala Skyway, along with so many other twisty roads as well.

Just got back home after 3.5 days of riding, all day long. It was the best therapy.

We just ate road food, nothing to report. :)

    Its karma and therapy so rolled together. At the end of the day EVERY muscle is hurting from the intense  workout. Love it. Get back and there is folks from all over, even international, and the party just started. 

    Just got my daughter a ride of her own. Its her 16th b'day gift in January. Meanwhile she rides with her hooligan daddy.

    Took advantage of one of the last riding days today too.  Beautiful day, autumn colors in the mountains this year weren't great but had a great ride:
     
     
    Burned up two tanks of gas, it was cool, clear, not a breeze nor cloud in the sky.  This has been the hottest/driest summer on record here in utard, I'm happy to feel the cool weather!

    Awesome ride @aviator!! We generally go ride the Tail every year either on labor or Memorial Day weekend. We usually rent a cabin in Townsend. Where did you guys stay?

    I do miss those fantastic eastern roads, the PNW is good, but just not the same. Loved touring in New England. Envy you, enjoy!
