    Alesmith Speedway Stout.

It's very good! If you can find an Alesmith beer in your neck of the woods give it a go. Highly recommended!

    Cheers

@sumoconnell, I wish so I could kick some ass into gear. My wife is a Special Agent for Treasury OIG. She's furloughed. Her mom is works for Customs and Border Protection an is single income. She is working but not getting paid. Insult to injury, our Rav4's transmission just crapped the bed and will be $5,200 to fix. That plus supporting my MIL is crushing our savings(mortgage, student loans, energy bills all come out at the same time) so we've had to cancel going to Eggtoberfest. If this garbage persists, I might have to sell off my snowboards, road bikes, and eggs because we can't afford to lose more savings with 2 little kids. We try to be financially prudent but these mother effers have the gall to shut down the government over a goddam pissing contest. No wonder only 9% of the country approves.

Eggcelsior sorry to hear. Hang in there. Hopefully the A-wipes will stop this crap. In the mean time drink up.

    All in the family.

I found some footage of @Eggcelsior 's MIL explaining her fiscal problems with a member of congress and asking for them to be reasonable about solving the problem.

Not to be out done, here's Eggcelsior having the same conversation with another member of congress.

Wow.  I didn't even know they still make that, but it was always (along with Goebel) my "don't have much money but want some drinkable beer" beer.

Last night we had a bottle of Becker Culinaria and bottle of 2005 Bois de Menestrel Vacqueyras.

Brisket has been on all morning. A spatch is on for lunch. I'm headed out to specs. I may not make it to tomorrow.
Be careful, man! I've got a beverage here.

Going to be getting a cooler set up with ice shortly, get the beers ice cold... and then enjoy the rest of day and evening.

BIL & SIL coming over this evening for some beers, brisket, etc. I am planning on grilling up some romaine hearts to go with the brisket for a light dinner :)
