Big Green Egg - EGGhead Forum - The Ultimate Cooking Experience...
It doesn’t get much hotter than the EGG cookin’ in July! Make sure to keep yourself hydrated with a bit of whatever you’re using for the Beer Can Chicken. Ice Cream Sandwiches are also a great way to stay cool. Looking for some great ideas for a summer cook out? Try out a Pimento Cheeseburger or Dr. BBQ’s Spare Rib Surprise. Just don’t be surprised if your neighbors stop by for a quick bite when they smell what you’re cooking!

Big Green Egg headquarters has moved - come visit our new showroom and check out the museum and culinary center too! 3786 DeKalb Technology Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30340

There is a free E-Trash drop off tomorrow and rather than pay the going charge around here of $25 per item I plan to save a couple hundred getting rid of some TVs, VCRs, monitors and this old PC. It is no longer operational so I cant wipe the hard drive so I intend to remove it and physically destroy it by drilling it and smashing it into oblivion! BUT...I don't know where it is. I see not to touch or mess with the power box in the back corner, but what am I looking for? TIA

  • It is at the end of one of those ribbon wires. I think the most rearward one. Hard to say for sure though. If you start there and pull it out I can identify it for sure. It should look something like this:

amazing the damage a ball peen hammer and an anvil can inflict on a little ol' hard drive! And then just to be further safe my drill press even got in on the demolition. That hard drive looks like Congress at the end of the day - sorry, beaten up and WORTHLESS!!!

hmmmmn, I would have done that but too late now - already in the recycler's hands. Ended up with 9 pieces of E-trash...
