    I've done it twice now. Bottom (top)? Round. 8-9 lb chunk from Costco @ $2.99 lb.

    300 degrees coated in olive oil, garlic and Italian seasoning. Take it to temp and refrigerate for slicing. You need the bigger chunks since it keeps the middle nice and med rare.

    I sliced half and stored the other half in fridge , in a bag not opened. 6 days later the other half was still good and sliced for sandwiches.

    Enjoy, made hot beefs, French dips .... Good stuff. The first one I had veggies on the bottom of pan and made au jus.
