Good looking cook Hap and, that fence board immediately to the left of the egg is one of the finest pieces of lumber I've ever seen!---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.____________________Aurora, Ontario, Canada

The peas and corn are fairly simple. One can each of the peas and corn, one jalapeño, 2 cloves of garlic, 4-6 slices of bacon, 1/4 stick of butter and some olive oil.
Heat the oil, sautée the chopped garlic for a few min, then add the chopped pepper. Cook for a few min and add the chopped bacon. Cook til the bacon has rendered a bit and is a little crispy. Add the peas and corn, stir, and then add the butter. Set it on low and stir every so often till you're ready to serve. Gets a little creamy the longer it simmers. I added a touch of salt and pepper as wellMSV Chill Spot
